So, we've been a very busy little family so far this summer! We've had Olivia's first birthday on July 1st up at the cottage which was a blast!
Then I had to go back to work part time. I was planning on only doing a couple of days a week but we've had a slight change in plans because we are expecting baby #2! We are so excited and thrilled about it! So I'm just trying to get enough hours in to qualify for maternity leave again in February. The due date is the 15th of February but Matt has decided that he wants all our babies born on holidays so I need to aim for the 14th. Ha ha! We'll see what happens.
Although we found out the gender when I was pregnant with Olivia, I sort of want this one to be a surprise. We'll see if I can wait that long. Matt is anxious to find out though.
Here's how we announced the pregnancy to the family. Note Olivia's shirt;) This is the best picture we had of her wearing the shirt. Haha!
Here's some more pics of the long weekend in August.

Matt's pretty proud of himself for winning the annual fishing festival...for the 5th time?
The Fuller crew.

Welcome to blog land! Congratulations on number 2. I had already heard but was made to keep mum about it. Proud of me? ... you should be. Lucky for Matt that I wasn't at the fishing festival or he would have gone down!
ReplyDeleteYay for improving the world gene pool, one Fuller baby at a time! Such great news, let's hope for a boy and then in a year or so I can have another girl(since that's all we produce around here) and they can be betrothed!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Matt will be happy to take on that challenge any day, Fionna! And yes, I'm very proud of you. Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteWe kinda like girls around here too Allison. The more the merrier right? After all I am one of the 8 Stone girls. Lol!
Congrats on Baby #2!! We announced baby 3 by putting Joseph in a Big Brother shirt, BUT after wearing it for 20 minutes, and nobody saying/noticing anything, we just had to come out and say it. Glad your family is more observant than ours. Good luck with the pregnancy! Oh and BTW, I think you should let it be a surprise (not that my opinion matters). I love finding out after the baby is born.
ReplyDeleteCongrats again on baby #2 and loving that you have a blog. I don't know Matt well, but it kinda makes me laugh that he still holding the trophy in the fam pic...I guess he really was proud. Just makes me wonder where it gets displayed in your house.
